AR-CNAV is a software intended to run on the bridge of a vessel of any size, be it a sailing boat or a tanker. It acquires data from different sources, fuses information and provides an easy to assess navigation environment to the skipper or bridge crew. The demonstration video exhibits the software functionalities when applied to a vessel moving in the San Fransisco Bay area. The SF skyline and over the sea environment have been downloaded from the WRLD3D maps for the demo purposes.
In real time operation, the user will continue to see the physical environment by means of a camera on a normal or a transparent screen or with his own eyes in his AR glasses. The selected navigation assistance produced by the AR-CNAV will be overlaid on the physical environment.

It acquires data from different sources, fuses information and provides an easy to assess navigation environment to the skipper or bridge crew. The compressed folder has to be downloaded to a Windows-10 PC. Once it is decompressed, the user can just run the AR-CNAV.exe file. This is the full operational software when applied to a vessel moving in the San Fransisco Bay area.
